About this site
This site was created as a resource for the OSU Department of Student Media and the students involved in the five branches of the department.
I conducted the research, available here, as part of my undergraduate thesis requirement for the OSU University Honors College. I was the editor of The Daily Barometer when we printed an image that shocked and dismayed members of the OSU community. It was an image of blackface, meant to portray school spirit. I've tried to learn something from the chaos and pain and misunderstanding. Here's hoping you can learn something too.
