Media Management, Awarded June 2018 The New School, New York, NY At The New School, I studied leadership and organizational design concepts for emerging technology and media businesses. I also focused on foundations in analytics, market research, user experience research and user experience design. My capstone project focused on the emerging field of voice user interface design by reaching out to professionals working in the industry to understand how they research and design new products. Honors Bachelor of Science
New Media Communications, Awarded June 2009 Oregon State University, Corvallis, Ore. At Oregon State University, I studied media effects, effective communication and visual design strategies, media ethics, business models for new media enterprises as well as the existing mass media landscape. My thesis explored the Oregon State University community reaction to a newspaper illustration published during tenure as editor-in-chief that was unintentionally racially insensitive.
